Associate's or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice
The criminal justice program provides a combination of philosophy and practical skills for a thorough education in areas of expertise including investigation techniques, evidence rules and the theories in criminal law. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to comprehend the fundamental goals and challenges facing police, courts and corrections in controlling crime and achieving justice.
Certificate, Associate's or Bachelor's in Paralegal Studies
The objective of this program is to provide students with the instruction, training and technical knowledge that will enable them to gain entry-level employment as paralegals. Graduates of this program will be able to handle legal matters logically and communicate their findings and opinions effectively, both orally and in writing. Additionally, graduates of this program will understand the paralegal's place in the legal community and will understand as well that, except as permitted by law, paralegals do not provide legal services directly to the public.
