Broadview University

Over the years, Utah Career College has, in response to the needs of students and employers, expanded its curriculum and its geographic presence. In 2010, it became clear that name no longer reflected all we offer—graduate as well as undergraduate degrees, plans for expansion to neighboring states, and academic programs in a growing number of fields. We had outgrown our name.

Today, our historic institution is Broadview University. The name embodies our vision of building strong communities through the growth and success of our students. We invite you to grow with us!

For more than 30 years, our school has provided hands-on training that prepares students for careers in business, industry and government.

Helping students achieve career and life goals

Our mission is to provide each student with a high-quality education that will lead to professional and personal success. Our history is a record of success in fulfilling that charge by implementing a simple and clear formula for success:

  • Degree programs that meet the needs of employers
  • Personal attention for every student
  • Instructors with experience in the field

Broadview University is nationally accredited, a member of Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). This accreditation verifies our long-standing record of excellence in career education.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies provides comprehensive paralegal training to prepare graduates for entry-level to mid-level positions in private law firms, state and federal government agencies, the courts, public service law firms, insurance companies and corporate legal departments. Through lecture, individual and team projects, reading and briefing of cases, document preparation, and mock trials and hearings, students will learn to think critically, analyze legal issues, and express themselves clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. Students will gain practical experience in researching legal issues, drafting legal documents, conducting investigations and dealing with clients. In addition, students will complete courses in communications, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences, which are designed to develop essential academic skills for enhanced and continued learning.

Associate of Applied Science - Criminal Justice
