Why Globe University?
The Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice program will prepare you for a career in corrections, the courts, private security or law enforcement support. Studies include juvenile justice, terrorism, drug enforcement, criminal behavior and corrections.
Employment may include positions such as corrections officer, private security, protective services and private investigator. (Additional training is required in Minnesota and some other states for employment as a law enforcement officer.)
The bachelor's program includes advanced topics in criminal justice and will serve as a foundation for a supervisory or management position.
Prepare for a rewarding, challenging legal career. You will get hands-on practice in legal research, drafting legal memoranda, document preparation, filing subpoenas, performing client interviews, evaluating evidence and all other responsibilities expected of the entry-level paralegal.
If you enroll in the associate or bachelor's degree program, you will complete an internship—a valuable opportunity to practice your skills in a legal environment.
If you already have a bachelor's degree in any subject area, consider a paralegal certificate program. Just nine months of legal coursework and you will be job-ready.
Globe University is nationally accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diplomas, associate in applied science degrees, bachelor of science degrees and master's degrees.
