To provide you with the diverse background employers are searching for, our criminal justice curriculum introduces you to sociology, political science, psychology, social work, and other liberal arts and human services disciplines. Additional academy training may be required for law enforcement positions.
The legal administrative assistant program provides knowledge of the legal procedures and skills necessary for employment as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary in today's sophisticated legal environment. Graduates may work in both the private and public sector. They work in law firms of all sizes, government agencies, corporate legal departments and other businesses. They assist in the preparation of legal documents including pleadings, motions, contracts, research memoranda, discovery, settlement agreements and trial briefs. Our graduates are trained to be responsible for managing client files, organizing records, documenting and calendaring litigation dates, and coordinating court appearances.
Additional police academy training may be required for law enforcement jobs.
