Legal Programs

Bachelor's in Criminal Justice (Online)
The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program is designed to be a completion degree for individuals who seek to expand their knowledge and marketability by earning a Bachelor's degree. The program is built upon a foundation of criminal justice and criminology coursework and includes additional study in the areas of behavioral science and corrections. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible for a wide variety of positions in the criminal justice and related social service fields.
Diploma in Crime Scene Investigation
Students will learn many aspects of crime scene analysis including crime scene processing in a lab, forensic photography, and crime scene investigations. Students will also be exposed to mock crime scenes to sharpen their skills in identifying, securing, and processing various crime scenes. Students will specialize in the locating, recording, preserving, collecting and processing of physical evidence found at crime scenes. The CSI diploma can be completed in only nine months. And the instructors are certified crime specialists who are employed in the field of forensics. The curriculum for the Crime Scene Investigation diploma program at Southwest Florida College has received Crime Scene Certification Board approval from the International Association for Identification (IAI).
