The Center For Advanced Legal Studies has specialized solely in the education of paralegals since opening its doors in Houston in 1987. In fact, we are the only college in Texas that specializes in Paralegal Education – it’s all we do. Due to the ability of our graduates, and the reputation of our faculty and staff, the legal community recognizes the Center as Houston’s leader in paralegal education. The Center provides a comprehensive approach to paralegal studies, offering paralegal programs and continuing legal education opportunities for those interested in obtaining or furthering their legal education.

Our programs meet the high standards established by legal and educational institutions and incorporate the recommendations expressed by members of our Advisory Committee, local attorneys, practicing paralegals, educators and paralegal associations. Both the Paralegal Certificate program and the AAS Degree program are accredited and approved by the American Bar Association. This ensures our graduates are prepared to enter the paralegal profession.
