The South Orlando campus is centrally located in the heart of
South Orlando's business district. The physical facility is a
large one-story building and incorporates close to 70,000
square-feet including 21 classrooms, six computer laboratories,
two medical laboratories, a pharmacy tech laboratory, massage
therapy laboratory, bookstore, library, staff and faculty
offices, testing room, two student lounges, staff lounge,
conference rooms, restrooms, lobby and storage areas.

The Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice provides a

The Criminal Investigations program offers the fundamentals of
crime scene investigation science and theory. After education in
this program, graduates may work in federal, state or local
governments, forensic laboratories, medical examiners' offices,
hospitals, insurance companies, universities, arson investigation
units, homicide investigations or laboratories.
Graduates may also be employed as independent forensic science
consultants, fingerprint technicians, print examiners, forensic
investigators, evidence technician or in private investigation.

The Homeland Security program will provide you with a solid
foundation in planning, implementing and managing security
operations for an organization. This program evolved out of a
need for increased protection from and awareness of outside
threats to national security. You can embark on a career in a new
field with unlimited employment potential.
The Homeland Security program includes education in areas such as
civil and criminal justice, emergency planning and security
measures, tactical communications, domestic and international
terrorism, and business and ethics for security specialists.
You will acquire the education and skills needed for a career in
corporate or government security. Whether you aid in the

The Paralegal program is designed to prepare students to enter
the legal field as a legal assistant or paralegal. The program
prepares future paralegals to research legal issues, draft legal
documents, prepare pleadings, summarize documents, organize trial
notebooks and interview clients.
The program also focuses on another aspect of the legal field:
contracts. Students learn about the formation of contracts,
breach of contracts and remedies for the breach of contracts.
Estate planning, wills, trusts, estate taxes, estate sales, joint
tenancy and judicial determination of death are also covered.
In addition, the program also covers family law and criminal law.
Family law specializes in divorce, separation, custody, adoption,
guardianship and community property. In criminal law, students
learn about defining common law, statutory crimes and punishment,
classification of crimes, principles of liability by specific
defenses and basic criminal procedure concepts.
