Associate of Science in Criminal Justice

The Associate of Science degree in Criminal Justice is designed to provide students with a broad introduction to the field of criminal justice and enable them to pursue an entry-level position in the field of law enforcement or to pursue more advanced study at the baccalaureate level. The curriculum offers a balance of theory and application that will prove challenging to students and useful in the field. As with most fields, computers have become an important part of criminal justice practice; therefore, the program is designed to provide valuable experience using computers.

This criminal justice program enables students to explore and prepare for career openings in policing, private investigation, corrections, probation and parole, private protective security, or as providers of security to firms concerned with incidences of computer crime.
