Criminal Justice - Associate of Science

The Associate of Science in Criminal Justice focuses on crime, law enforcement, correction, and the criminal justice system. The program provides an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the mechanisms of social control, resolutions of criminal justice problems, and currently accepted procedures.The curriculum is designed to offer a balance of theory and application that will prove to be challenging to students and useful in the field. Coursework includes classes such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminal Investigation and Police Procedures, Constitutional Law for the Criminal Justice Professional, Criminal Evidence, Criminal Procedure, Criminology, Introduction to Corrections, Juvenile Delinquency and Criminal Justice Report Writing.
