security. The program prepares you to pursue further studies or

Upon graduation, you may qualify for entry-level employment in

The objective of the paralegal program is to prepare students
with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for
an entry-level position in the legal field. The curriculum offers
students a general knowledge of legal concepts, an understanding
of and appreciation for specific areas of substantive law, and
develops technical skills in legal research, writing and
recognition of legal issues.
This program is designed to expose students to the basic legal
principles necessary to function effectively in a law office,
public agency or business environment. Duties for the graduates
of this program will include legal research utilizing computer
assisted legal research, drafting legal documents, conducting
legal investigations and assisting attorneys in trial
preparation.
