Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice program addresses the basic components of law enforcement, the courts and corrections. The program will prepare and expose students to the many professions within the basic components of the criminal justice field such as detention officer, corrections officer, bailiff, crime scene technician, community corrections, probation officer, parole officer, victim advocate, juvenile worker, dispatcher, criminal investigator, victim assistance officer and others. The program provides a quality, professional instruction in current criminal justice related issues, topics and trends that academically prepare students for further study, entry level positions and/or opportunities for career advancement.
