About the Hatfield School of Government

The Hatfield School offers students the latest in technological capabilities and exposure to a wide variety of courses spanning political science, public administration and criminal justice. In addition, the Hatfield School draws significantly from its five Institutes and one center which conduct research and offer classes specializing in executive leadership, nonprofit management, criminal justice policy, tribal government, US-Turkish affairs and environmental studies. The Hatfield School offers a rich variety of courses, practica and internships where theory and practice come together.

The mission of the Hatfield School is to attract, prepare and renew leaders and managers for public and nonprofit service. The School's degree, certificate and continuing education programs are shaped by three overarching values: the importance of public service, the pursuit of social justice and the quest for effective innovation in service delivery. Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice

Portland State University's BS in Criminology and Criminal Justice is designed for current or future criminal justice professionals seeking the flexibility of an online bachelor's degree.
