Concord Law School of Kaplan University
The best law school may be the one that comes to you
Founded in 1998, Concord Law School was the first institution to offer a Juris Doctor (JD) degree earned wholly online. After merging with Kaplan University in the fall of 2007, it is now the only online law school with prestigious regional accreditation.
Concord provides a rigorous, comprehensive legal education with curricula that lead to either a JD or Executive JDSM degree. Instruction is theoretical and practical, emphasizing a critical understanding of how the law functions in society, and how lawyers function within the legal system. This flexible, user-friendly online platform is ideal for students who lack the time or resources required to make law school their only priority. Concord believes a law degree should be accessible to any qualified student with the ability and motivation to succeed.
Concord Law School serves students from all 50 states and a dozen foreign countries. More than a third already have advanced degrees, some from prestigious institutions such as Columbia, Harvard, Yale, MIT, UC Berkeley, Duke, and the University of Chicago. Students include educators, small business owners, CEOs, physicians, bankers, pilots, police officers, military officers, city planners, nurses, dentists, consultants, accountants, sales representatives, engineers, real estate developers, stay-at-home parents, and more.
