The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice degree is designed for
students interested in a career in law enforcement, homeland
security, forensic science or related fields that help your
community and nation. This degree program provides instruction in
current criminal justice issues such as law enforcement
operations, the courts and correctional institutions, private
investigations and victim and juvenile counseling. In addition to
learning about theory and practice, students will gain exposure
to the latest applied technology and interact with practitioners
in criminal justice. Career opportunities include work in police
agencies, private investigation agencies, state, federal and

The Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice degree provides
instruction in current criminal justice-related issues, topics
and trends. Students in this program will be given an inside view
of the operations and processes of law enforcement, the courts
and correctional institutions. In addition to learning about
theory and practice, students will be exposed to the latest
applied technology within each component of the system. Also,
students will have an opportunity to speak and interact with
current criminal justice practitioners. The program of study will

This program trains students to become an essential part of any
legal team. Students will study and become adept in legal
research, writing and analysis, and also with the interviewing of
clients and witnesses, fact gathering, summarizing trial
evidence, estate administration and property transfer. In this
program, paralegal students also learn to form corporations and
partnerships, conduct and participate in real estate closings,
draft leases and examine mortgages, handle landlord and tenant
relations, draft contracts and partake of product liability and
personal injury cases, as well as participate in other civil and
criminal cases.

Keiser University's Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security focuses
on essential management-level skills needed in the field of
homeland security. The program addresses unique proficiencies
needed to understand homeland security at local, state and
federal levels.
Objectives include instruction in management principles for use
in forming emergency plans for multiple agencies, training to
recognize, investigate and respond to terrorism, and also covers
issues currently threatening society and how to respond to such
threats.
