Master of Mediation

This new, first-of-its-kind program blends intensive on-campus residency sessions, online learning and practical application in the student's home community to offer one of the best mediation programs in the country today.

Students gain a strong theoretical foundation coupled with intensive practice that leads to a solid grounding in the best practices in this emerging and important field.

Key Features of the Master's Degree

• 18-month, 42-credit program.
• 11 residencies of between three and five days over 18 months or 24 months (depending on start date).
• All the advantages of face-to-face learning combined with the convenience of a distance education program.
• The opportunity to work with leading mediation practitioners and theorists.
• Individual coaching and mentoring emphasizing skill development.
• Solid advising relationships, both on campus and via ongoing telephone and e-mail communication.

Financial Aid

As a student at Woodbury College, you will be eligible to apply for a range of federal and state grants and loans, employment retraining funds, and various sources of scholarships. Most aid is awarded on the basis of need. Woodbury College makes every effort to be sure that financial considerations do not stand in the way of any applicant. Approximately 85 percent of students attending Woodbury receive some form of financial aid.

As you plan your education, please keep in mind the value of the investment you are making. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that you can expect an average increase in salary of between 8 percent and 10 percent for every year of college completed. And not only does more education lead to higher paying jobs, it makes it more likely that you can find a job quicker.
